Modern Bluetooth speakers like the JBL Charge 6 are built tough—often featuring rugged handles for portability.
Yet there are times when you might want to remove or replace the handle: perhaps you’re mounting the speaker, customizing its look, or simply prefer a sleeker profile.
Whatever your reason, this guide will walk you through the process to remove the handle on your JBL Charge 6, safely and efficiently.

Remove Handle On JBL Charge 6
To begin, place the speaker on your workspace, flat-side down or on its side. This is so that the handle faces up or away from your body.

Next, unfasten the handle latch from the fastener, just like you would do when when unbuttoning a shirt or clothing apparel.

Gently pry the handle’s end away from the speaker’s slot by sliding or lifting the handle straight out. Repeat the same step for the other end of the handle.

Once removed, you can wrap the handle around your power cable. You can also stash it in the speaker’s carrying case (if you have one) for safekeeping.

Why Remove the Handle?
Customization: Swap the stock handle for a custom strap or mount bracket.
Mounting: Fit the speaker into enclosures or racks that can’t accommodate the protruding handle.
Aesthetics: Achieve a minimalist look for your setup.
Maintenance: Access internal components or replace worn handle parts.
