Turn ON JBL Charge 6
The first step is to locate the power button. On the JBL Charge 6, the power button is a circular rubberized button marked with the universal I & O symbol. You’ll find it on the top panel of the speaker, adjacent to the Bluetooth and Auracast.
Ensure the speaker has some charge. If it’s brand-new, it may have a small factory charge, but we recommend plugging it into a USB-C power source for at least 30 minutes before first use.

Press the power button once. The LED status ring around the power button will light up and the speaker will perform its startup chime, indicating it’s fully on and ready to use. If it’s your first time powering it on, the Bluetooth LED will start blinking and making a recurrent sound. This means that it is in pairing mode.
To turn off your JBL Charge 6, simply press the same power button once until. You’ll hear the shutdown tone and the LED ring goes dark.
