How To Enable / Disable Data Saver On Galaxy S25

Erick Wachira February 7, 2025

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to enable / disable Data Saver mode on your Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+ or S25 Ultra. The Data Saver feature on the Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra helps reduce mobile data usage by restricting background apps from consuming data.

This can be useful if you have a limited data plan or want to extend battery life. However, some users may prefer to disable it for uninterrupted app performance.

Data Saver mode limits background data usage, ensuring that apps only use data when actively in use. It prevents apps from syncing in the background, reducing unnecessary data consumption. However, this may impact real-time notifications and app updates.
